We can't speak highly enough of the staff and quality of care at Alphabet Soup. Our foster son was enrolled there for the 1.5 years he was placed with us, and Bobbi and her staff literally became an extension of our family during that time. They were so invested in this little boy's wellbeing and gave him so much love and attention, as they did all the kids in their care. Within a week of us being enrolled at AS, the teachers were greeting my school-aged kids by their names - something I thought was remarkable given how many families they serve. But we came to learn that that was typical of Bobbi and her staff: they are professional and personal at the same time, making sure that each child at their center receives the best, individualized care and nurturing to meet their needs; and ensuring that each family feels welcome and reassured that their child is in loving, capable hands. When our foster son was reunified with his bio family, the AS family held our hands and shared our tears as we prepared for a very difficult goodbye. We will never forget their kindness and caring.

Hi Bobbi, I was so sad to take him away, and he will really miss, Miss Felicia! I brought him to his new school today, it wasn't easy for him. He said he was frightened and wanted to see his friends at Alphabet Soup! I bawled after I left him! You guys were wonderful, thank you so so much for taking care of him. I only took him out because he will be going to the same school for kindergarten and on. Thank you all, SO MUCH! It wasn't easy for me to send him to your preschool, I wanted him all to myself! But you all were great. Once again, thanks for taking care of him, it meant the world to me!

Miss Bobbi & her staff are AMAZING! Our family was new to daycare in September. Our son is 2 now. We thought he needed more socialization than just play groups and play dates, sharing was another thing we wanted him to learn. So far, he's thriving! Miss Bobbi and her team of teachers are AWESOME! Everyone is friendly & they care so much about each child. I wish my son could attend more than 2 days per week, they always have something fun planned for the kiddos each day!

I absolutely love every teacher that Niamh has had; every single person I have come into contact with has made it obvious that they care deeply for each child that attends your facility. Our daughter started in the toddler room with Alphabet Soup in September of 2017. It was the first time that she would be away from home. Of course, we were a little nervous about sending her to people other than family; that's just natural. However, before she even started, during the enrollment process, Miss Bobbi felt like such a genuine, caring person. She was always available to answer any questions that we may have. Plus, she has so many years of experience which reassured us from the start. Once our daughter started classes, it was clear that the teaching staff (Miss Cody and Miss Yaritza especially) really cared about the well-being of our child and that she was in good hands. The curriculum is extremely transparent and we are never in the dark as to what has happened during the day. There is excellent communication between teachers and parents. Our daughter has grown so much developmentally since she started, in all areas. She has now transitioned into the preschool class and is loving it there too. We feel so safe leaving my child there. We know that she is well taken care of and is learning so much. We can't thank Miss Bobbi and Alphabet Soup enough for their caring and loving nature as well as helping our child to grow.

Leaving Callen for those first hours with Ms.Jenn, Ms. Victoria and you of course were some of the most anxious hours I had experienced (up until that point). Looking back now I think, "what a baby" me, not Callen. I cried while grocery shopping with Doug during those trial hours. Over the weeks that followed Doug and I quickly learned that ALL of us seemed healthier with Callen in day care. Your care. I do not regret any of it for even a second!
Callen will be our one and only child and though we try not to make the "single child" parenting "mistakes" it's hard not to invest everything I am into him. He is a wonderfully typical challenging almost-four year old with remarkable intelligence and kindness towards others. We know this is in no small part because of you and the Alphabet Soup family. We sincerely thank you for helping us raise our son.

Two years ago, we sent our daughter to Alphabet Soup and couldn’t be happier with the decision. Our child flourished under the gentle care of the teachers in the infant, wobbler and toddler rooms and the staff were so accommodating to us with any concern we had about our daughter. She was treated with such love and support on a daily basis and we felt confident that she was in encouraging and capable hands. The staff was great at communicating with us and they were so helpful at implementing any new change we wanted for our daughter’s schedule. The daily structure and routines have been instrumental in giving our daughter more confidence in as she has grown from infant to toddler in the past 2 years. When we had our second child last summer, it was so much easier to go back to work knowing how well our child was being taken care of at Alphabet Soup. This is a fantastic daycare, a positive and engaging environment, and we feel very grateful to have sent our children here.

Both of our children attended Alphabet Soup and would still be attending if we had not relocated. It was only with great sadness that we left, as we truly felt they were in great hands. The teachers were always very kind and attentive to our children. Our children seem to thrive when their conditions are consistent, so we really liked that the turnover in teachers was very minimal. We also loved seeing how excited our kids were at drop off, and felt that was an excellent reflection of their happiness there. We still keep in touch with several of the teachers and the facility’s wonderful owner, Bobbi, and will always be deeply grateful for having Alphabet Soup play such a special part of such a delicate time in our lives!

I want to send my thanks to you for the nearly 9 years of service you have provided my family and I. No words will do justice to how we feel about the staff. “Staff” is too generic - they are an extended family. Each has a unique gift to share with each child and do it effortlessly. Everyone has been there for our whole family, have laughed and cried with us. I would not change a thing, I made the perfect choice, and I will miss everyone greatly. I will miss Ms. Julie wishing me a great day at drop off and laughing with Ms. Richards as she wishes me a good night at pick up. We will have to visit!!

He can now recognize his name and some numbers. He knows the alphabet song and now is starting to trace his name. It's great to see him doing all of this things at his age. We will miss being there. We heard about ASCC from a co-worker who raved about how much she and her son loved it. Then after meeting Bobbi, who let us visit many times with our newborn to get comfortable with the idea of sending our baby to daycare, it was clear that this was the place for us. Bobbi and her staff helped us tremendously as first time parents, giving practical advice when we needed it most. Our daughter loves her school. She lights up when we pull into the parking lot. She loves the arts and crafts, all the music, and (of course) the lifetime supply of bubbles!

My 4-year-old son has been with Alphabet Soup for 2 years and he loves it! The move to the new Taylor St. location has been just a dream for our family. It is a cozy, clean, organized and mellow environment. One of the things I love about ASCC beyond the wonderful site is the people. I truly feel welcome, at home, and comfortable walking in, chatting with the kids and teachers, looking at projects, staying a while. I feel the teachers genuinely love the children, love working there and get excited about telling me stories about my son's day. The director, Bobbi, is beyond professional. So, you’re searching for a daycare? Look no further! We stumbled upon Bobbi Rougeau by a stroke of luck and our only regret is that we didn’t find her sooner! We have had our two children in her program at Alphabet Soup since it was opened. She has a Parent Advisory Council, again showing the desire of the center to meet the needs of the families she serves. She involves the families through other events such as field trips, tag sale fundraisers and ice cream socials adding a personal touch to a place that can often be daunting for a parent to commit to bringing their child every day. Through these activities and her responsiveness, Bobbi has succeeded in making this daycare feel like a home-based daycare, but with all the added benefits of a larger center. Bobbi also prides herself on trying to find the best staff possible, and we think it shows in the quality of the people she employs. We would endorse Bobbi & Alphabet Soup whole-heartedly.

I often think how fortunate we have been to have such a wonderful place as Alphabet Soup for our girls to spend their time while we have to be at work. Nothing can be more comforting for working parents, then to know their children are being well cared for by people who are as wonderful and enthusiastic as Bobbi and her staff.
