Our Philosophy
Alphabet Soup Childcare Center, provides a well-rounded, safe, educational and caring environment. The goal for each child is to acquire a strong educational baseline crucial to the skills necessary for school readiness. The handpicked staff have much to offer and contain the necessary ingredients to cook up a center rich in quality. Our efforts include recognition of each child's individual needs and the use of our combined knowledge and expertise along with outside resources to meet those needs. We provide a relaxed, home-like atmosphere, which allows limitless opportunities for free exploration, creativity and endless amounts of fun for all involved!
Our Story
Alphabet Soup Childcare was established in 2006 by Bobbi Rougeau. Bobbi, owner/director, has more than 30 years experience in the field of Early Education & Care. She is living out her lifelong dream of operating a group childcare center where quality care is offered to families in need.
Staff
The hand-picked staff work hard to provide an educational curriculum for the children who enter their classrooms. It is our ultimate goal to provide a nurturing environment rich with learning experiences in an effort to build a solid foundation for kindergarten readiness.
Trainings & Certifications
The team has been trained extensively in several key areas:
Sign Language, Behavior Management, Preventing Stress and Supporting Young Children, CPR, First Aid, Emotional Literacy, The Impact of Grief and Loss on Young Children, ASQ (Ages & Stages Questionnaire), Building Math & ELA Curriculum, Nutrition, Mindful Emotion Regulation Strategies, Beyond Covid-19: Supporting Children & Families, Attuned Interactions & Healthy Relationships Support Early Development, Building Positive Relationships with Parents, Teaching Strategies Gold, Language Development and Autism.
OVERT Training: In addition to those areas above, the entire team has participated in an extensive Active Shooter Training. This training consisted of an OVERT training (Occupational Violence Emergency Response Training or Active Shooter Training). Air Purification Systems: All our locations were recently installed with Guardian Air Purification Systems.
